His Trait is garbage, protecting him against very few effects, allowing him to get easily denied. While that might seem pretty good, he doesn't have much going for in his actual movepool. He can apply Damage Buffs, Skill Mirror, two Tortures, and regenerate his stamina. Krampus, being a Dark monster, is weak to Light monsters, so Patrion or any other Light attackers are good choices to counter him.Seems like $P really loves making trash YouTuber monsters, huh? Fundy's a really bad Fire Attacker who can't do much.Krampus also heavily relies on Freeze, which means that monsters with Freeze immunity can block the status effect.Timerion is also immune to the many status effects that Krampus can inflict on him due to his Artifact trait, plus he too can activate enemy cooldowns. To put simply, he is bland, outdated and outclassed. However, he has a horrible trait and his relics don't help much for a denier.
He has a high speed stat to make him a pretty decent denier and is able to apply tortures and random negative effects. Unlike other deniers of his element, he doesn't possess, but rather he Freezes. Krampus is one the oldest Dark monsters in the game.
